Here are my thoughts on this day of remembrance.
I became “a man” during the “Reagan years”. I was in the USAF from 1980 to 1989. During most of that time, Ronald Reagan was my CINC (Commander In Chief). Today I am feeling like I am saying goodbye to my father again. I am compelled to watch all of the ceremonies that are available on C-Span and the “other” networks.

I was too young for Kennedy’s funeral and was in my teens when Johnson died. So, I must show my respect now.

God bless you Nancy Reagan and your family for allowing me to share in honoring your husband, father, and TRUE American!
