Happy Birthday Andy!

Andy is 1 year old TODAY! Yeah!
Wow! How this year went by quick. It seems just like yesterday that I was holding this little miracle in my arms snuggled in a warm blankie and just looking on in awww…Now comes the fun parts. I love this little guy! He is getting so long. I love his smile!

I never thought I could love like this. Becoming a daddy is definitely the best thing I have ever done (I didnâ€™t think I could top meeting Julie or, getting my pilot’s license. Go figure!). Every day I see growth and thank God for the privilege to have this little guy around.
I love you boy!

I feel badI was reading this and started feeling bad that I didnâ€™t go to any of the Memorial Day services yesterday.

Rotten night shift anyway!

I dont have an excuse either. As a former military member, I should have done something.
Then I started remembering as a young man back on the farm in ND, my whole family would ALWAYS attend the local parade and services at the cemetery at “The tomb of the unknown soldier”. It was a Family get together and we would have a picnic later.

Still puts a lump in my throat.
To all servicemen who have served in the past AND present day, GOD BLESSES YOU.
