“The year was 1986, and director Tony Scott directed Tom Cruise, Anthony Edwards, Tom Skerritt, Meg Ryan, and Kelly McGillis into one of the most popular films of that decade. Top Gun flew onto the big screen and was a major hit. Girls drooled of Tom and his friends, while the guys drooled over Meg Ryan and the supersonic jets. This is a great movie, and has been made even better with DVD. The picture is clear and the sound is even more so. When you put this movie in, you will feel the wind fly through your hair as you scream by faster than the speed of sound. This is just a feel good movie. And though it may be unbelievable, it is still a blast and a half to watch. Before it is over, you will remember sayings like, I feel the need, the need for speed. You might also recall, negative ghost rider, the patern is full. Either way, Goose and Maverick will fly right into your living room with this DVD. Scoring four out of five stars, Top Gun, creates a sonic boom as it lands a spot on the must see movie list”…Muldoon
