A Walk to Remember

Netflix

We rented this through Netflix. This movie was really nice. There were a few swear words in the beginning, but as the story developed, you hear less and less of that, and more of a positive message that you wouldn’t mind watching with your Grandma. It’s about a girl who is the P.K. (Preacher’s Kid) at school, and she gets picked on and harassed about her conservative dress, hairstyle, all that fun stuff. The “cool guy” gets busted doing stupid stuff and gets “sentenced” to being in the school play, which also stars, you guessed it, the PK… and he starts out making fun of her like everyone else, but then realizes that she’s got something he doesn’t have… Faith in God…. and he wants it… so he does what he has to do to get her father to agree to let them go out, and the rest, you’ll just have to watch the movie.
