Jeff’s Darn Blog-On the verge of ignorance.
A co-workers daughter went to the post office the other day to buy some stamps. The clerk asked her if she wanted the stamps with the Baby and mother on them. The postal clerk informed her that she was not allowed to say the names of those on the stamp.
Yes it was the baby Jesus and Mary. This insanity is getting out of hand!
MERRY CHRISTMAS
Howdy All!
I’m typing this into a word document first so I can run the spell checker. I also don’t have access to my blog while logged in to work.Â
It’s been a long, long week. I haven’t posted much because I have been concentrating on fixing this blog and importing some old posts from “The MT days”. What a pain! Don’t EVER switch hosting servers with out making triple-sure that you have a database backup. Silly me backed up all my files but for got the database. In my defense I was hurried to make a quick backup before my host switched DNS server over. They only gave me 4 hours to do it. Dummy me should have had one backed up before I called them. Oh well! I’ve learned a lot more about WordPress this way and I like it a lot better.
Life is generally boring right now. All I do is work, play with blog, and on Sundays I video out church service and spend the rest of the day encoding the video for the web and on DVD. The service is also broadcast on out local cable TV network later in the week.
WordPress 2.3 is installed and I’m still learning all the neet things to do with tags. Anybody have any suggestions? I’m addicted to now watching and waiting for all my plug-ins to update. I’ll bet I’ve reloaded 3 or 4 of them at least twice a piece this week. Want to see what I have?
Nothing much else new to report here than Andy is still growing and reeeeeaaaaallllyyyy likes school! It is no problem at all getting him ready for the bus in the morning.
Julie will be posting her monthly article for the paper on this blog shortly. Stay tuned!
Yawn!
Yippee! I spent all night updating this blog and another to WP 2.3. Â
So there are lots of new items and a new Theme and some new plugins. Please bear with me as I get them all to work.
Now If I can just get Headspace to work we will be cruisin! As you can see Ive got some smilies working too. Hopefully the wife wontÂ
 my head off!
Whew!
Man I’m tired! I should not have stayed up til 4:30 in the am working on this blog! I have to admit though it is comeing along nicely though.
The wife says I need to come out to the living room now and watch some TV. Did you catch that? The wife says I need to watch TV? Huh??
Ok I’m done now. After 60 calls in a day, don’t call me ok?
I will be posting more movie reviews later.

A PrayerI found this and it says what I needed to say.
A Father’s Prayer
Lord I’m askin’ for Your help
To raise my newborn son,
Give me strength and guide me
‘Cause I know that You’re the one.
That sent this angel to me
A little heaven here on earth,
for now I know my place in life…
I’m no longer who comes first.
Once I had no answer
As to why it is I’m here,
But when I looked into my baby’s eyes….
It all became so clear.
This little bit of heaven
Owns me, heart and soul
And it’s You that sent him to me
A greater love I’ll never know.
So take these rugged hands of mine
Help me to understand,
Just what it is I need to do
To raise this little man.
Help me build a boy that knows
It’s You that holds the key,
To all that heaven holds for us
Show him Your love through me.

oooops! I forgot!I forgot to mention that the date for baptism for Andrew and Ben has been changed to June 29 2003 9:00 AM at Good Shepard Lutheran Church.
Old Schedule…This has changed!!!!Also, baptism for both Ben and the Baby will take place on Sunday June 22, 2003 at 9:00 AM service, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church on Highway 13 south. THe church is located across the highway from Country sports. Al and I will also be taking part in the ceremony as we are being confirmed as members of the church. Actually, it’s quite a big day for Ben… he’ll be baptized in the beginning of the service, along with his little brother… and then he will be confirmed at the end of the service. He’s really excited about it all!
Need directions?
We made this change so Julie can get some rest after all the hard work she put in the last few days.
Andrew and Julie are coming home sometime on Friday but, I’m not sure what time yet.

Baby Bunt News posted for Julie by her loving Husband!
well, had my final baby visit this morning. Checked things out, and my body is nowhere near ready to give birth on it’s own, but I gained another 8 pounds of water in 10 days, and my feet are so swollen now, they are yellow, because the skin is stretched so tightly over them! Monday morning at 7:30 AM, I am scheduled for my c-section. Unfortunately, my days of wearing my skimpy bikini are over after this one, because the doctor can’t use the old scar, because of all the swelling, and will have to do a vertical incision, so she can insert drainage tubes for all the water that has accumulated in my lower body… yee hah! Visiting hours at the hospital are from Noon until EIght PM, we will be in the birth center at Marshfield. You go in the front doors, and ask directions… it’s the easiest way to get there! I will be ready for visitors Monday afternoon… I”m having a spinal, and hopefully, it won’t take all day to wear off. We will be in the hospital until at least Thursday for sure… possibly Friday. ALso, baptism for both Ben and the Baby will take place on Sunday June 22, 2003 at 9:00 AM service, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church on Highway 13 south. He’s really excited about it all!I think that’s it for now! Will be posting more info, and pictures of the baby as we get them!

Great NewsHere is the link to a journal about Gregg Olsen. He is my brother-in-law. He suffered a stoke in January 2003. Take a look at the pix below to see the improvements made so far. I am so proud of him and his family! This pix was taken Memorial Day 2003. Great Job Gregg!
