Blogging should be simple, but it gets complicated and time-consuming if you are serious about it. BlogDesk makes it easy to write, speeds up lavish processes and assists the author with smart features.
Howdy All!
I’m typing this into a word document first so I can run the spell checker. I also don’t have access to my blog while logged in to work.Â
It’s been a long, long week. I haven’t posted much because I have been concentrating on fixing this blog and importing some old posts from “The MT days”. What a pain! Don’t EVER switch hosting servers with out making triple-sure that you have a database backup. Silly me backed up all my files but for got the database. In my defense I was hurried to make a quick backup before my host switched DNS server over. They only gave me 4 hours to do it. Dummy me should have had one backed up before I called them. Oh well! I’ve learned a lot more about WordPress this way and I like it a lot better.
Life is generally boring right now. All I do is work, play with blog, and on Sundays I video out church service and spend the rest of the day encoding the video for the web and on DVD. The service is also broadcast on out local cable TV network later in the week.
WordPress 2.3 is installed and I’m still learning all the neet things to do with tags. Anybody have any suggestions? I’m addicted to now watching and waiting for all my plug-ins to update. I’ll bet I’ve reloaded 3 or 4 of them at least twice a piece this week. Want to see what I have?
Nothing much else new to report here than Andy is still growing and reeeeeaaaaallllyyyy likes school! It is no problem at all getting him ready for the bus in the morning.
Julie will be posting her monthly article for the paper on this blog shortly. Stay tuned!
